External Communications:

  • Publish a variety of digital content with a focus on producing engaging webpages that are visually appealing and provide an overall rich experience for visitors. Manage all posting to ensure content is on-brand and search-optimized. Ensure all marketing campaign materials are uploaded to the website.

  • Identify content and produce monthly news stories for press, media and/or social media.

Events:

  • Ship all event materials and handle event logistics.

  • Research potential events, pay for sponsorships and speaking opportunities, and ship booth displays (for FED and SLED).

  • Inventory and order promo materials and giveaways as necessary.

Social and Digital Media:

  • Assist in digital and content syndication execution—across email, website, and social media.

  • Own and execute social media strategy for building brand awareness.

  • Create content for social media accounts and post regularly on each account.

  • Manage social media, social ad campaigns and other promotions; track and share results for continuous improvement to targeting and segments.

  • Measure and track the effectiveness of marketing and communications plans and initiatives.

  • Create a Twitter handle for IMGS. Train the sales team on how to effectively use the platform, post and schedule content.

Internal Communications:

  • Engage sales managers to capture customer success stories.

  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing, Federal Marketing Manager and SLED Marketing Manager on internal newsletter creation for staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.

  • Three to Five years of experience in Marketing and Communications.

  • Proficient in Twitter and LinkedIn. Experience in SalesForce is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • This job operates in both a remote and office setting using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and file cabinets.

  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

  • Must be able to bend, lift and carry 25 pounds at times

Travel:

  • Local travel will be required to participate in meetings, ship event materials, etc.
