Iron Mountain is the global leader in information management for businesses. We are seeking a Growth Marketing Lead to drive the launch and scale of an incubated venture focused on small business customers. As one of the first hires on the growth and marketing team, you will influence the company’s growth trajectory, competitive positioning, and customer philosophy. As the company grows, you will be in a position to expand responsibility, including leading growth teams, collaborating closely with our venture CEO, and shaping our team culture. You will have near carte-blanche to find our customers, generate demand, and drive growth. You are a passionate go-getter who thinks outside the box and thrives in a scrappy, entrepreneurial environment. In this role, you will have flexibility and independence to drive new product growth by any means necessary, with the ability to leverage the brand power and backing of our parent company Iron Mountain.
Location: Flexible, Northeast preferred.
Primary responsibilities include:
Develop and execute against strategic acquisition and retention marketing plans to drive growth and maximize ROI
Lead campaign flighting, monitoring performance and continuously optimizing
QA data & drive analysis, bringing actionable business insights to better understand our customers and exploit those insights in marketing campaigns
Think outside the box to constantly test new channels, audiences, bidding strategies, creative/copy, etc. - including content creation where needed
Provide proactive, innovative thought leadership to our growth efforts across the board
Build the “market launch playbook” as we scale to additional markets, defining our go-to-market strategy as a supplement to the always-on activities outlined above
Build strong relationships with technology, analytics, and media partners at Iron Mountain and externally to plan & design campaign assets
Report directly to our venture CEO
3-5 years of direct, growth-focused experience in cross-channel, in-platform media planning & execution; B2B or DTC focused, startup experience preferred
Proven success managing online marketing programs with CPC, CPA, and CPM models on Google Ads, Facebook Ads/Business Manager; OTT, direct mail, etc. experience a plus
Experience tagging, tracking, and reporting in Google Analytics; experience with third party ad serving (e.g., Google GMP), trafficking, pulling reports a plus
Experience creating & publishing content on a variety of channels
Demonstrated ability to work across teams to identify, produce, and activate on media strategies including test & learn
Scrappy go-getter with a strong sense of ownership who enjoys working in a startup environment and wearing multiple hats
Balances big-picture, strategic thinking with hands-on-keys execution and analysis
Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and comfort with ambiguity
Able to synthesize detailed marketing data into actionable insights; comfortable communicating insights to leadership
Detail-oriented and highly organized; multi-tasker able to work well under pressure/deadlines to get the job done
Curious, opinionated, and eager to learn and grow outside of your comfort zone
