Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Digital Solutions Product Marketing team. This role will focus the development of a use case-led marketing strategy for our emerging solutions in the SaaS/Content Services space. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience marketing SaaS solutions targeting a variety of roles and industries and familiarity with technology solutions that automate workflows and business processes, bridge the gap between different content sources/types and improve information governance practices.
Our Senior Product Marketing Managers work within assigned product categories to create compelling messaging and content, lead product launches, support demand campaigns, impact the creation of sales plays and sales enablement - all to support our revenue growth objectives. This role requires a self-driven individual who can work with cross-functional teams of senior leaders and individual contributors throughout a matrixed, distributed organization. This position will represent Iron Mountain to customers, prospects, partners, industry analysts and other significant constituencies, as well as represent those constituencies within Iron Mountain.
Plan and lead the development and execution of our use case marketing strategy for a suite of SaaS solutions designed to drive efficiencies in common document-centric processes and address industry-specific challenges
Develop marketing plans, messaging, sales enablement content and activities, sales plays, external content across the buyer’s journey, etc.
Drive the strategy to support growth of the service line. Partner with Demand Generation to drive leads, and with Sales to promote use of tools, best practices or other activities to accelerate the sale
Analyze the performance of current service offerings including win/loss analysis, concepts for new services (includes forecasts for those new services), and service offerings of competitors. Collaborate with Business Leadership and Product Management to define value and prioritize future product requirements and roadmap. Provide product lifecycle management within the geography
Provide the “voice of the customer” to worldwide product management to ensure marketability of products, establishing and tailoring of value propositions for appropriate market segments
Plays a leadership role in recommending and influencing future product roadmaps based on market research and new market trends
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
8+ years of experience, with a significant portion in marketing management for a customer-oriented organization
Previous experience working in the product marketing function in B2B
Experience with content services, enterprise content management, business process management and SaaS highly desirable
Create marketing strategies that align to vertical segments/use cases
Ideal candidate will have brought "use cases" to market - by user type or industry
Aptitude and ability to translate technical content/user experience into marketing-messaging for specific buyer groups
Self-starter with strong executive facilitation skills and experience related to strategic execution and problem solving
Solid analytical skills (i.e., marketing measurement, new market analysis etc.)
Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities.
Highly seasoned project management skills
Exceptional written and oral communications skills (including presentations), as well as listening and interpretation skills
Excellent people management skills, with an intense focus on the firm’s culture and values
Ability to work well in a team environment
High degree of professionalism and integrity
