The Paid Media Manager is an individual contributor who will collaborate with internal and external partners to develop various forms of consumer-facing paid marketing campaigns (specifically in Digital Media) designed to change the perception of consumers and spark action. Iron Mountain is in a growth mode, and is developing world-class capabilities for their marketing efforts. Success in this role entails helping our internal stakeholders create and execute paid media campaigns (primarily digital) that achieve the partners’ goals and objectives, continuously improving and changing with consumer desires and industry innovation.

Simply put, this role needs someone who can excel at these three things:

  • Be a strategic, collaborative partner/consultant - most of this work will be developing digital media buying strategies based on the marketing objectives of our internal partners. You’re the subject matter expert when it comes to media buys.

  • Be organized and timely - when the plan is in place, work with internal and external partners to execute, optimize, and report.

  • Be a data-driven marketer - use data and consumer insights to develop campaigns, suggest content, and recommend targeting and tactics, then use more data to report on outcomes, optimize, iterate, and improve.

Collaboration with Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Social Media, Web/Digital, Analytics, Communications, and other Global teams will also be critical to ensure all efforts drive the strongest consumer discovery and engagement. The candidate should have the ability to work in an always-evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm and develop paid media solutions to marketing needs and objectives (how to measure, how to engage, how to present information, etc).

  • Work with internal creative services, external agencies, and specialized media buying partners to develop paid marketing campaigns in numerous formats for numerous paid marketing channels.

  • Keep projects on target, on budget, and on time, ensuring quality deliverables that achieve stated business/marketing objectives.

  • Bring new ideas and projects to life on a regular basis – both short and long lead.

  • Work closely with the larger Brand & Media Team, respective business and marketing leads, and cross-functional teams to develop campaigns.

  • Create and use campaign reports to deliver actionable insights and key learnings for constant and iterative campaign improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in paid digital marketing or related field.

  • Enthusiasm and positivity is a MUST!

  • Experience with Google Ads and/or SA360/DV360, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager and Google Analytics.

  • Comfortable reviewing, analyzing, and presenting campaign reporting.

  • Willing to step out of comfort zone to provide insights and recommendations.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong ability to work closely within a team structure and prioritize and manage time effectively.

  • Has a passion and intellectual curiosity for all things digital and emerging technologies. Keeps abreast of the latest industry news and vendors.

  • Outstanding team player, collaborator, and consensus-builder, with a knack for earning respect and credibility quickly from management.

  • A problem-solver, a self-starter, and a design-thinker by nature.

  • Ability to be awesome.
